Gurindji women share Walk-Off tales at Katherine festival

Less than a month after they celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of the Wave Hill Walk-off at the Freedom Day festival in Kalkarindji, a group of Gurindji women are on the road to Katherine to share stories of their role in that historic protest.

The Walk-off is a little known event credited with igniting the modern day Land Rights movement.
